Smart Photonic Sleeve
The Smart Photonic Sleeve is a steel sleeve including optical sensors. Together with an intelligent interrogator hardware and smart data analytics algorithms it offers actionable information about rotating equipment. Including load, temperature, their distributions, health and performance. The product uses optical sensors with advantages like; EMI and explosive safe, use of one optical wire, long distances sensing, small integration footprint and suited for any environment. The sleeve can be obtained seperately and as an end-to-end solution including visualization on a dashboard.
Photonic sleeve
A steel sleeve equipped with a mesh of fiber-optic sensors, which measure the strain distribution on the rotating asset, From this the load, temperature, speed and condition can be derived.
Measurement device
The measurement device acquires the sleeve measurements and offers robust and reliable real-time measurement with a high sampling rate as input for rotating asset analysis to load and condition
Asset analytics
Software functions translate measured sensor wavelengths into physical parameters; load, temperature, speed and condition enabling the use for operation optimization or design validation.
Dashboard
Visualizing rotating assets real-time on system load behavior, condition and any other interesting phenomina. Giving insights on system design, efficiency and expected maintenance.
